ECHL: Utah Grizzlies Sign 6’3″ Defenseman Kade Jensen

The Utah Grizzlies, proud affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, announced today that they have signed defenseman Kade Jensen to a contract for the 2023-24 season.

Jensen Brings Size and Skill to Utah

Jensen, a 6’3″, 205-pound defenseman, brings a wealth of experience to the Grizzlies. The 26-year-old has played in over 200 professional games, including stints in the AHL and ECHL.

Jensen is known for his physical presence and defensive prowess. He is a strong skater with a long reach, making him difficult to play against in the defensive zone.

Proven Scorer at the ECHL Level

Despite his defensive reputation, Jensen has also shown an offensive touch at the ECHL level. In 112 ECHL games, he has recorded 32 points (9 goals, 23 assists) while posting a +11 plus/minus rating.
